Just wanted to tell you to keep up the good work. I was planning on asking you on Thanksgiving day about your blog site and encourage you to write some more. I had quite given up on seeing something new — when voila! This morning (11/22/2010) I found that apparently you had taken the time during your trip to give and update. Fantastic! Am so happy to hear you had a postive experience with your peer group regarding your writing. Family may tell you these things — but I know how we shy ones think (“Aw shucks, they are just saying that because I am family”) right? And you don’t take us seriously. Hang in there — you have a God given talent. Nurture it!

    Sarah,
Finally got around to reading your blog the other day. I don’t really know what else to say, other than, “Wow”. I don’t think I ever knew you had dysgraphia when we were growing up.

Reading your mom’s post about your extreme intelligence reminded me of the conversations we used to have about books, movies, characters, and people we knew. I miss those conversations, I really do.

I think your blog is great and I’m extremely proud of you for writing about your experiences and the things that you notice. You’ve always been one to notice things that others didn’t…or act on things that others would notice and not do anything about.

I wish we could live closer to each other so we could be a part of and discuss the different changes in our lives, but that does not appear to be in God’s plan for right now.

I just want you to know that I think you are amazing. I have always thought so. I wish I could be more like you.

God Bless you and Matthew and all that you do individually and as a couple for those around you.

So, I wrote this really cool post about your blog and how I was really blown away, and I wish you would write more, and how I miss you….and it was really long too…but it didn’t post for some reason, which is kind of annoying.

    Anyway, in a nutshell:
*I love reading your entries, it has been very insightful and I wish I had known a lot of this about you when we were growing up. Aside from that it’s good to hear the perspective of someone who actually struggles with dysgraphia instead of reading about people who study people with dysgraphia/dyslexia.

*I really like your writing style. It’s very organized and it flows well and it’s easy to read. And I like reading your thoughts. Write more!

*Off topic: But do you know that the most talked about subject over Christmas Break in Houston was your absence? Your friends miss you! Send smoke signals once in a while so we know you’re among the living!

Hope this year is adventurous and inspiring for you!

    Jessica
